We’re Upgrading Your Gym Experience — Here’s What You Need to Know

At Wellness Works, we’re always looking for ways to make your membership experience smoother, more convenient, and more rewarding. That’s why we’re moving to a brand-new system called ClubWise, replacing our previous Technogym MyWellness platform.

This change brings you a dedicated Wellness Works app, QR code check-in, exclusive member perks, and a simpler way to manage your membership — all from your phone.

Here’s everything you need to know about what’s changing and what you need to do.

What’s Changing?

We’re switching from the old MyWellness system to ClubWise. In practice, this means:

  • A new app. You’ll download the Wellness Works app (available on both iPhone and Android) to check in, view your membership, and access exclusive deals.
  • QR code check-in. No more cards or fobs. When you arrive at the gym, simply open the app and show your QR code at reception. It takes two seconds.
  • Exclusive member perks. The new app comes with a Club Perks section featuring discounts from brands like Nike, Samsung, Gymshark, supplement providers, and meal prep services. These are available to all members at no extra cost.
  • Your membership continues as normal. Your membership type, billing date, and access don’t change. We’re simply moving the system that manages them behind the scenes.

What Do You Need to Do?

Just three simple steps:

1. Download the Wellness Works app

Search “Wellness Works” in the App Store or Google Play, or use the links below:

2. Activate your account

Open the app, tap “Activate Account,” and enter your details. You’ll receive an activation email with a link to set your password. If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder — and if the email on your account is outdated, let us know at reception and we’ll update it.

3. Set up your direct debit in person

Pop into the gym and our team will help you get your payment details set up on the new system. This takes just a few minutes at reception.

That’s it. Once you’ve done these three things, you’re fully set up and ready to go.

A quick note on payments: Your direct debit details should only ever be provided in person at reception — we will never ask for bank details over email, phone, WhatsApp, or social media. If anyone contacts you asking for payment information on our behalf, it’s not us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I lose my membership or have to re-sign?

No. Your membership carries over. The direct debit setup on ClubWise simply replaces the old Stripe payment method. Your membership type, billing date, and terms stay the same.

No rush. Your membership continues regardless. When you next visit, our team will help you activate the app and set up your payment details. It only takes a few minutes.

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it’s still not there, visit reception — it usually means the email address on your account needs updating, which we can do on the spot.

The app is the main way to check in going forward. If you haven’t set it up yet, just let reception know when you arrive and we’ll check you in manually — we’ll never turn you away. But we’d encourage you to get the app sorted so you can take advantage of the QR check-in and member perks.

Yes. The QR code in the app refreshes regularly, so it can’t be screenshotted and shared. You need to open the live app each time you check in

No. We cancel your old Stripe payment when we set up your new direct debit on ClubWise. There’s no overlap.
